Human Innovation Management
Marketplace drifts caused by demographics, economics, technology, politics fueled by innovation produces disruption, threats, and new opportunities. At the Human Innovation Institute we frame the the current moment in early 2026 and the upcoming period as The Great Transition. This period is punctuated by the degradation and decay of historic and inherited institutions, organizations, values, and belief systems. As these systems degrade, new approaches are emerging through a reimagining and reinvention of the most important and critical aspects of society. These will be the systems and structures our civilization depends on for the most crucial human concerns.
For organizations, the old systems, approaches, and practices are becoming increasingly potent as complexity increased exponentially. Human Innovation Management is being introduced as a new and dynamic framework organization, teams, and leaders can use to increasing their adaptability, resilience, and growth opportunities. This publication begins that process. We will explore why this matters now, a view of the world and it's complexity, a broader introduction of the concept, core capabilities, and metrics to track progress.
The Human Innovation Institute has taken on the ambitious task of identifying the bottlenecks of large scale growth and transformation efforts and introducing this new framework. Our work is focused on exploring how individuals, teams, organizations, and society can develop the capabilities required to navigate The Great Transition.
